Aerodynamic Models
Model 387 - Medium or long hood lengths, and a contoured roof
cap directs air more efficiently around the trailer along with a more
dramatic sloped hood to optimize airflow and maximize visibility. New
headlight technology. 30-inches of walk-through between the seats, along
with an abundance of storage space, including 25 cubic feet of under-bunk
storage.
Model 387 Day Cab - Ideal for tanker and regional haul carriers.
Aerodynamic, fuel-efficient, and ergonomically spacious with ample storage.
Available with one of the shortest BBC lengths, as well as a longer 120-inch
BBC configuration. Optimized front-axle position for better maneuverability
and weight distribution. Sloped hood, large one-piece windshield and a
1,200-square-inch rear window offer panoramic visibility. Gauges and instrumentation
placed within driver sight and reach.
Model 386 - The newest addition to the aero truck lineup. Peterbilt's
Unibilt© and UltraCab© sleeper systems is versatile with a range
of detachable sleepers. Fuel-efficient operation. Available as a Class
8 truck or tractor. Applications for line, regional, bulk and tanker hauling.
Corrosion-resistant, lightweight aluminum cab, lap-seam construction and
huckbolt fasteners for durability and watertight, bulkhead style doors,
and rattle-free operation. Available with all three new Peterbilt conventional
cab interiors. Ergonomic working environment featuring LED backlit gauges,
easy-to-reach switches, and ample lighting and storage.
Model 384 - A 116-inch BBC and a setback front axle providing fantastic
weight distribution and maneuverability. The BBC and axle position are
for urban and congested areas. Lightweight, mid-length BBC ideal for LTL,
tanker, bulk and regional haul applications. Available with smaller-block
engines for further fuel- and weight-savings. This vehicle can be spec'd
as a truck or tractor, a day cab or with the full range of detachable
Unibilt© sleepers. All-aluminum cab is lightweight and corrosion
resistant. LED backlit gauges, easy-to-reach switches, and ample lighting
and storage. Complex reflector headlamps for a 43% increase in nighttime
visibility.
Traditional Models

Model 389 - Legendary Peterbilt styling. Optional Fuel Efficiency
Package for proprietary, specially designed cab and sleeper components
can improve fuel. Advanced forward lighting, improved maneuverability
and enhanced cab and sleeper environments. Wide range of applications
and business requirements. It is available in truck and tractor configurations
as well as a day cab or with the full range of Unibilt® sleepers.
Customize capabilities with a range of Caterpillar and Cummins power options,
automated or manual transmissions, multiple axles and suspensions rated
for on- and off-highway use. Wheelbase adjustments in one-inch increments
along with six different frame rails offered to custom match strength-to-weight
requirements.
Model 388 - High performance and rugged durability for vocational
and on-highway uses. Aluminum hood. A shorter BBC for maneuverability
and reduced weight for payload-sensitive applications. Optional Fuel Efficiency
Package for proprietary, specially designed cab and sleeper components
to improve fuel economy. Many engine and transmission options as well
as customizing options. Components are lightweight and durable. Wheelbase
adjusts in one-inch increments and six different frame rails to match
strength-to-weight requirements. Use as day cab or with detachable Unibilt®
sleepers.
Vocational Models
Model 367 - Offered in set-forward and setback front axle configurations.
123-inch BBC, dual front-axle positions and tag and pusher axle options
to comply with various state and federal bridge law requirements. Optimum
weight distribution. A wide range of options available to meet application
needs. Engines available from 280 to 600 horsepower. Manual, automated
and automatic transmissions available. Multiple heavy-duty axle and suspension
options. REPTO and FEPTO available. Individual frame layout and drilling,
with one-inch increment wheelbase for the most specific vehicle requirements.
Construction ready options available. The Model 367 Heavy Haul can accommodate
the highest horsepower engines, and is ideal for tractor, oilfield and
stationary applications.
Model 365 - Mixer, dump and other vocational applications. A 115-inch
BBC and can be configured in a set-forward or setback front-axle position.
Optimal ride and handling, maneuverability and weight distribution. Engine
options for power and weight requirements. Horsepower ranges from 280
to 470, torque up to 1,650 lb-ft. Available in manual, automated and automatic
transmissions. Multiple heavy-duty axle and suspension options. REPTO
and FEPTO available. Individual frame layout and drilling, with one-inch
increment wheelbase to meet specific vehicle requirements. Construction-ready
options.
Model 340 - GVW ratings from 33,001 to 66,000 pounds available.
Applications for dump, mixer and crane. Truck and tractor configurations
available and with single and tandem axles. Heavy-duty options available,
like double frame rails, 20,000 pound front axles, 46,000 pound rear axles
and frame extensions. Standard with the PACCAR PX-8 engine. The medium-block
engine, PX-8 is a six-cylinder, 8.3 liter engine with 240 to 330 horsepower
and torque ranges from 600 to 1,000 lb-ft. All-aluminum cab is lightweight
and corrosion resistant. Ergonomic operating environment. Panoramic view
from the cab. Both FEPTO and REPTO provisions available. Individual frame
layout and drilling along with one-inch increment wheelbase to meet specific
vehicle requirements. Transmissions available: automatic, automated and
manual.
Model 320 - Low cab forward. Strong chassis and optimal maneuverability.
Industry applications for waste disposal, specialty construction or transportation.
A variety of cab configurations such as left-hand, right-hand or dual-drive
with right-hand stand up. Corrosion-resistant aluminum cab construction.
Aluminum structure and skin huckbolted for superior strength and easy
repairs. Immediate access to all fuses and circuitry. Numerous options.
Medium Duty Models
Model 335 - Available in Class 6/7 truck and tractor configurations.
Applications for inter- and inner-city pickup-and-delivery, construction,
fire and rescue, beverage, municipal and refuse. Lightweight, rugged,
corrosion-resistant all-aluminum cab. One-piece aluminum roof. One-piece
hood and integrated fenders constructed of Metton®, a state-of-the-art
composite material, lightweight, highly durable and impact resistant.
New forward lighting system. Available in both the PACCAR PX-6 or PX-8
engines.
Model 330 - Class 6 vehicle that can be configured for non-CDL
operation with both air and hydraulic brakes. Available with a 26,000
pound GVW rating. Ideal for lease, rental and all van body applications.
Powered by the PACCAR PX-6 engine. Lightweight, corrosion-resistant all-aluminum
cab. Stair-style steps for cabin entry and exit. Several seating options
available.
Model 220 - Award-winning "International Truck of the Year".
Available in Class 6 and 7 truck configurations. Applications for tight
turning radius, ease of operability and high-volume payload capacity.
Non-CDL operation configuration available. Expansive one-piece windshield
and high side windows, large cab-mounted mirrors. Doors open a full 90
degrees. Anti-slip, low-mounted, steps. Standard front axle ABS disc brakes.
